Poole is currently being tagged the St Tropez of the South Coast. We are ideally situated in the centre of Poole town within walking distance of Poole Quay, the Dolphin Shopping Centre and Swimming Pool, Poole Stadium, Lighthouse (Poole's centre for the arts), Poole Park, Train and Bus stations. Poole offers 5 kilometres of award winning beaches including Sandbanks, winner of thirteen European blue flags. Poole Quay, the second largest natural harbour in the world, is a 10 - 15 minute walk from the hotel and enjoys a lively continental atmosphere with an array of restaurants to suit all tastes. Take a boat trip across Poole harbour and you'll discover the peace, tranquillity and beauty of Brownsea Island, owned by the National Trust. Brownsea Island is a beautiful 500-acre island of heath & woodland, where one can enjoy quiet beaches, woodland walks, open glades and views of the Dorset Coast. Poole Stadium is opposite the Hotel, hosting Greyhound and Speedway racing; the Hotel is happy to arrange bookings for those facilities. There are various local Golf courses nearby and links have been made, with local clubs to arrange Golf break weekends.
